BacklinkDog is a backlink monitoring service that checks user-specified URLs for changes to specific backlinks, including removal, attribute changes, anchor text changes, and page availability.

BacklinkDog does not guarantee SEO rankings, traffic improvements, or link permanence.

3. User accounts

An account is required to use the service
Authentication is provided via email/password or Google OAuth
You are responsible for maintaining account security
You must provide accurate and lawful information

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Monitor URLs you do not own or have permission to monitor
Use the service for illegal or abusive purposes
Attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Pricing & payments

BacklinkDog offers one-time lifetime plans
Payments are processed via Polar.sh
Prices are displayed at the time of purchase

Refunds

A 30-day refund policy applies
Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase

6. Availability & limitations

The service is provided on a best-effort basis
Backlink checks are periodic, not real-time
Alerts may be delayed or missed due to external factors

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

BacklinkDog is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time
We may suspend or terminate access for violations or abuse
Termination does not entitle you to a refund outside the stated policy

9. Intellectual property

All rights to BacklinkDog remain with the operator
You retain ownership of your data and URLs
You grant BacklinkDog the right to process your data solely to provide the service

10. Changes to service or terms

We may modify features, pricing, or these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of changes.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Jurisdiction is Bern, Switzerland.
